Want to support the building of security architectures? Enforce the design and implementation of trusted relations among external systems and architectures? Assess and mitigate system security threats/risks throughout a program's life cycle?
Do you want to immediately make a positive impact on U.S. National Security?
This is part of the work that SecureTech Cybersecurity Engineers do every day in support of the nation's Intelligence Community.
We help design, develop, implement and/or integrate Information Assurance and CyberSecurity systems and system components - including those for networking, computing, and enclave environments, to include those with multiple enclaves and with differing data protection/classification requirements.
We build IA into systems deployed to operational environments. We assist architects and systems developers in the identification and implementation of appropriate secure functionality to ensure uniform application of our customer's security policy and enterprise solutions.
As a SecureTech ISSE you can apply your system security engineering expertise:
- to the system security design process within the engineering life cycle.
- to dominate the information domain; cross domain solutions; commercial off-the-shelf and government off-the-shelf cryptography; and IAA (identification, authentication, and authorization).
- to master system integration; risk management; intrusion detection; contingency planning; incident handling; configuration control; change management; auditing; authorization process; principles of IA (confidentiality, integrity, non-repudiation, availability, and access control) and security testing.
Some tasking you will accomplish:
- Participate as a security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation and/or integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.
- Apply your knowledge of IA policy, procedures, and workforce structure to design, develop, and implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.
- Interact with the customer and other project team members and support the Government customer in the enforcement of the design and implementation of trusted relationships among external systems and architectures.
- Support security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management.
- Identify overall security requirements for the proper handling of Government data.
To get started in this exciting opportunity, you need a TS/SCI clearance with at least a CI polygraph. A minimum of seven (7) years of security engineering experience. You need a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering related field, and certification at DoD 8570 IASAE Level 2 or better (CASP+ CE, CISSP, or CSSLP).
An additional four (4) years of ISSE experience can substitute for the degree!
Salary commensurate with experience.
