What you will do:
Help JC2 in the delivery of Cyberspace Operations to include Cybersecurity/ Computer Network Defense (CND), Computer Network Defense - Response Actions (CND-RA), Network Operations (NetOps), and integration of cybersecurity into the USSTRATCOM mission areas.
JC2 Cybersecurity Analysts will provide subject matter expertise and serve as the focal point for all cybersecurity and Approval and Authorization (A&A) activities supporting the JC2 AO.
Analysts conduct Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities for systems and networks, including:
  • Providing tasking associated with the RMF roles of ISSO, ISSM, ISSE, SCA, and DAO.
  • Provide cybersecurity analysis supporting all AO accreditation decisions, risk analyses, mitigation strategies.
  • Provide solutions to cybersecurity process and technical challenges efficiently leading the A&A approvals process, oversee cybersecurity compliance efforts, and minimize operational risk to the systems.

  • A Top Secret (TS) security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
  • Minimum three (3) years’ Cybersecurity experience on DoD projects and/or systems of similar scope.
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience working with the DoD cybersecurity policies- DoD 8510.01 (DIACAP/RMF), DoDI 8500 series (Information Assurance/Cybersecurity), CNSSI 1253, and CJCSI 6731 (JC2 Security Policy).
  • DoD-M 8570.1-M certified -
  • Cybersecurity experience with Java-based development tools (the Ozone Widget Framework (OWF) is preferred) and associated security concerns.
