Job Description:
Potential positions coming to the ESEA II contract in April supporting Y3P6 systems engineering. The contractors will support engineering documentation, requirements, and architecture as a project starts early and progresses through its lifecycle. Looking for senior SEs with broad experience in leading systems engineering efforts to make development projects successful.  The project is highly visible and requires high performers to lead and integrate the development efforts. The contractor must be able to integrate Systems of Systems as well as identify and manage dependencies.
Individual Capabilities Required:
Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related discipline plus at least 15 years of systems engineering experience. A Master’s degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience. No engineering or IT degree requires 19 years of systems engineering experience.
Required capabilities:
Rich/robust experience in basic systems engineering across a majority of systems engineering “V”.
Ability to breakdown complex problem space, formulate technical strategies, build action plans, and track progress against established baselines to resolve technical challenges and meet customer expectations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of stakeholders.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team setting to complete assigned tasks within expected timelines. Flexible/easily adaptable within a dynamic work environment that may require surge efforts.
Systems engineering experience from both technical and programmatic perspectives.
Excellent interpersonal skills and diplomacy. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Eligible for a TS/SCI clearance.
Individual Capabilities Desired:
Working knowledge of Y3D6’s portfolio and mission applications.
Experience providing analysis of functional, system and non-functional requirements, data flows and dependencies.
