A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in one or more of the following:
a. System engineering of DoD command, control, communications and intelligence (C3I) systems;
b. Analyzing needs; deriving system-level requirements; and contributing to the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of computer networks and systems; or
c. Microelectronics engineering, integrated circuit design, and integrated circuit reverse engineering skills.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a system engineer to include experience in leading and collaborating with a broad range of organizations and groups/teams needed to accomplish the system engineering tasks.

Junior Systems Engineer/Analyst/Programmer
·           take actions via computer networks to protect, monitor, analyze, detect and respond to network attacks, intrusions, disruptions and/or other unauthorized actions that would compromise or cripple defense information systems and networks.
·           Support projects in CND by designing and developing custom software tools.
·           Experience in computer science, information systems, or network engineering.
·           At least 1 year programming experience (Java, Ruby, Python, C++, C#, and/or assembly)
·           1 year developing UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments or 1 year experience developing Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments.
·       Ideal candidate will have some reverse engineering experience and skills in vulnerability research, vulnerability analysis and/or exploit development.
·       Must be familiar with software version control tools (i.e., Git, Subversion, etc.)
·       Must be able to debug software and troubleshoot issues.
·       Experience with analytic tools such a Splunk / ELK stack are necessary.
·       Web  development with CMS such as WordPress, Joomai, ELGG is also desired.
·       Candidates must be able to state experience developing tools independently, and what they were responsible for doing as well as the value they added to the team/project.
