Process Engineer

Title: Senior Process Engineer
Provide Process Engineering to the Government Customer in support of Cyber operations, and support methodology development and evaluation on process engineering best practices within the cyber-security mission space.  The Process Engineer (PE) will provide analytic support to evaluate and identify gaps and inefficiencies in cyber mitigation strategies, tactics, and operations.  The PE will collect, record, and transcribe data in support of identifying the root cause in performance shortfalls and will consult in using process improvement techniques to drive performance and quality. The PE will facilitate and orchestrate group participation and conduct interviews while supporting enterprise wide integration of process improvement efforts.  The PE will be required to educate others on assessment/evaluation processes, benefits, and potential uses, and the PE will provide timely and accurate responses to requests for assistance, information, products, or services.   The PE will be required to evaluate existing processes to address problems with process work flows, organizational structure and alignment, and planning.  The PE will assist not only in defining Process Improvement strategies and lessons learned, but will also assist in planning and execution of process improvement initiatives such as Lean Six Sigma and Project management Institute methods.
  • Fourteen (14) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. 
  • Ten (10) years of experience in Process Improvement, including 5 years of experience in facilitation, training, methodology development and evaluation, change management, business management techniques, organizational development, activity and data modeling, or information system development methods and practices.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project
Education: Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or education is required.
Certification: None required. 
Desired Experience: 
  • Cyber domain experience.
